Green Beans with Balsamic Reduction Sauce Side Dish
In a large skillet, melt the butter and add green beans, onion and garlic. saute for 3-4 minutes over medium high heat until onions start to become translucent. add white wine and vinegar, stirring well and tossing beans to fully coat. reduce heat to medium low and cook for 5-6 minutes more, allowing vinegar and wine to reduce some. finish with 1 tablespoon butter, stirring to fully melt and incorporate. transfer to serving bowl and if desired top with slivered almonds.
